Print Advisor - Permanent, Full Time.
Calgary, AB
Summary
The Print Advisor is required to perform all functions within a print site. This will include customer service, administrative functions, production, ordering stock, training and developing staff, driving business, shipping, delivery and site maintenance.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional service, through the ability to understand the clients business and print needs and prescribe the appropriate applications to meet their needs.
Train and develop other associates on copy centre operation.
Build copy centre sales through effective execution of G&T promotions, prioritizing jobs, networking and acquisition of new copy centre customers.
Out bound selling and promotion of the copy centre services
Operate all equipment including photocopiers, printers, fax machines, bindery equipment, digital equipment and any other on-site equipment while maintaining a high level of quality output and service.
Receive customer orders and prepare estimates.
Pick up and deliver customer orders.
Process and produce print requests from hard copy or digital (electronic) input.
Ensure equipment maintenance when and where required.
Order necessary materials, supplies and inventory and prepare purchase orders.
Receive inventory and restock shelves within copy centre facility.
Operate the Point of Sale terminal (POS) and handle all transactions (on account, credit card or cash/if applicable).
Perform month end closing activities.
Participate in periodical inventory related activities.
Perform site opening and closing functions as required.
Install and display corporate promotional materials, collaterals, signs, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience in a retail or customer service environment.
Demonstrated positive attitude and able to function in a fast moving, deadline driven environment.
Good knowledge in the use of computers and PC based software such as: Windows, Word, Photoshop Adobe, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and other production related software as required.
Mac knowledge an asset.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication skills (written and oral).
Willingness to travel to another print site.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Ability to lift and move stock and boxes.
Excellent skills in communication and customer relations are essential.
Previous copy industry knowledge/experience an asset.
Secondary school completion.
