Bilingual Technical Support (one-year contract) (Markham)
CLick here for more details and to apply to this jobStaffworks is currently seeking applications for a Bilingual (French and English) Technical Support role in a well-respected financial firm located in the Markham area. This is a one-year contract.
The successful candidate will provide internal technical support to colleagues within the firm. You must be available for shifts from Monday to Sunday, but there will be no overnight work. The rate will fall between $15-$18 per hour.

Requirements:
- proven track record within a Service Desk/Help Desk environment or equivalent aptitude
- ability to troubleshoot a variety technical of issues with proven problem determination skills
- specific experience with MS-Outlook, Java, Windows XP
- Office 2010, Windows 7 and RIM support experience is an asset
- excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French
- ability to work in a high pressure environment
- outstanding customer service skills
- should be available for a 7 day work environment via rotations
- experience with ticketing systems is an asset
- post secondary education is an asset
Responsibilities:
- exemplary technical aptitude combined with excellent customer service and communication skills to field technical support calls from internal clients
- ensure efficient problem tracking via ticketing
- perform assessment of wide-impact or potential wide-impact outages and escalate accordingly
- provide ongoing feedback regarding problem handling and customer service improvements
- demonstrate continued skill development by supporting multiple lines of business
Location: Markham Compensation: $15-$18 ph This is a contract job.
