IT / Network Coordinator (Coquitlam)
CLick here for more details and to apply to this jobA local wholesale company is looking for an IT assistant to ensure its hardware, software and information systems infrastructure accessibility and functionality. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or higher, at least 3 years in the field experience are required for this position.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Monitors to ensure proper performance, connectivity and security of VMware Hosts, Windows Server 2003 / 2008, QNAP devices, and network systems
- Checks data backup jobs, Anti-Virus systems and firewalls.
- Assists with Installation and setting up of VMWare, Windows Servers and Client / Server applications
- Installs and setup Windows XP Pro / Windows 7 Ultimate workstations.
- Provides Help Desk support (problem identification and resolution, troubleshooting) for Microsoft Office Suite and legacy Accounting Software
- Assists on maintaining company internet / intranet websites
Requirements:
- Attention to Details
- Thorough on getting the job done
- Ability on multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
- Excellency on command of the English Language and Communications skills
- Knowledge of VMWare, Microsoft Server 2003/2008, Microsoft Exchange, Terminal Server, etc...
- Experience in Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 Ultimate
- Experience in VPN / QNAP / Vice Versa
Location: Coquitlam Compensation: $20 per hour, may gradually toward full time This is a part-time job.
